We live in a world with 3 dimentions (some may say they are 4, if we count time as a dimension). So it is utterly important to be able to visualize all geoscientific data in a 3D space. Not only that, but to always remember that the same feature of the subsurface is seen in a different way depending on the angle it has been intercepted with the mentioned earlier exploration techniques. 3D modelling of the geological context and the potential ore body complements all the data and broadens the vision of the geologist.
